Cattle and Cane

We here at Hannah Kinkade love a challenge, and this showcase dress for the lovely Helen from Cattle and Cane was definitely that! The dress was made up of 25 separate panels, while also featuring 8 appliqués designed and custom made for this project.

Helen's love of 60's inspired fashion is infectious, and we are currently working on something due in the very near future for her. Watch this space!

You've Changed - production by Trans Creative

We recently had the privilege of working with Trans Creative, thought to be the first trans-led theatre company in England and producing work and educational programmes for, with and about transgender people. Working alongside designer Katharine Heath we constructed a lilac bias cut dress for the star of the show, Kate O’Donnell, and carrying out many of the alterations for the show You've Changed. The show has garnered great reviews from it's time at the Edinburgh fringe, and is touring throughout Autumn 2017.

Peter Kay's Dance For Life

It's always fun working with Peter, and our latest offering was no different!

Peter has been doing his brilliant Peter Kay's Dance For Life shows for the last two years, and if you haven't been, GO!!! They're great fun and all in aid of Cancer Research! This year Peter, or DJ PK as he's otherwise known, and Sian Gibson wanted something to set them apart from the crowd. With Peter's love of the 80's and music, why not have matching gold and silver lamé shell suits with custom printed record fabric! Peter debuted the look as Honey P on the BBC Saturday night show Let It Shine, when filling in for the ill Robbie Williams as a special guest judge.

KISS 2017 Tour

Going strong more than 40 years later, the enduring success of KISS is in no small part down to their iconic costumes and instantly recognisable face paint. Hannah toured around the UK, mainland Europe and Russia with the band, ensuring that Paul, Gene, Tommy and Eric looked great when the kabuki to dropped, and time for "The Hottest Band In The World" to start playing their hits.

Lady Leshurr MOBO Awards

Being the Queen of the UK music scene, Lady Leshurr wanted something special for her MOBO Awards 2016 performance. We had the idea of riffing on a traditional ermine trimmed royal robe and giving it a modern day spin. We came up with a red denim jacket with faux fur oversized hood with matching cuffs, gold hardware in zips and toggles, and lined with a camo print. Just to finish it, we added Lady Leshurr's logo in gold to the back, with glittering Crystal and AB colour crystals from Swarovski®.
